This work is a dedication to those who are suffering across the globe from exposure to Depleted Uranium Dust –  specifically  those individuals who have been affected by NATO’s bombing campaign in Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya which caused pollution of millions of hectares of farmlands for millenniums to come. Numerous studies showed that the land pollution in those countries had a direct effect on infant mortality, severe birth deformation, and an expediential rise of cancer in the population. According to World Health Organization data in 2004, Iraq had the highest mortality rate due to leukemia of any country in the world.

This work consists of a large scale missile made out of paper tubing. The main image projected on the missile is from the green fields of wheat farms as they dance in the wind. The same image is distorted and digitally enhanced to produce the ominous effect of the fusion in the body of the missile. The missile is hung diagonally from the ceiling and 3 feet away from the wall.
